gallery Today on the tray: Peppermint patties

February 11 is Peppermint Patty Day. It’s a day to celebrate the tasty and refreshing chocolate and mint confection. The York Peppermint Pattie was first produced in York, Pennsylvania, in 1940. (The Peanuts character by the same name was introduced in 1966.)
