November 3 is National Sandwich Day.
Picture it: England, 1762. The foppish Earl of Sandwich — “the undisputed ruler of the sandwich world” — is surrounded by sycophants applauding his various sandwich creations. But then someone dares question the extra slice of bread in a club sandwich, causing the Earl to shriek “Silence!” It all happens in this amusing Jack in the Box commercial.
