Brady Mom vs. Walton Mom: Whose cooking oil is better?

From 1976 to 1996, Brady Bunch mother Florence Henderson starred in a series of commercials for Wesson Oil. In 1986, The Waltons mother Michael Learned starred in a commercial for Puritan Oil.

The Puritan ad execs must have reasoned that the Walton family had more kids and therefore their mom had more credibility and would sell more oil. Yes, but Henderson had “Wessonality.” But on the other hand, Carol Brady never cooked; she had Alice. Which mom do you trust more? Watch them both and then decide.
