Hungarian-born actress Eva Gabor, best known for her role as Lisa Douglas on Green Acres, was born on this date (Feb. 11) in 1919. She died in 1995.

Green Acres was broadcast from 1965 to 1971. Created by Paul Henning, the sitcom followed on the heels of his other rural-based hits, The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction, and was set in the fictional town of Hooterville.
