January 8 is Bubble Bath Day.
According to the holiday site Punchbowl, “Up until the late 1940s, the average American bathed once a week for personal hygiene. Today, a daily shower is standard, but it’s important to indulge in a luxurious soak every once in a while.” Wow. So the good old days were actually the smelly old days. Who knew?
But why settle for a bath when you can have a bubble bath party with Mr. Bubble? According to the commercial below, all you need is an inflatable pool, a garden hose, some Mr. Bubble, some neighborhood kids, and a stylish mom to sit in a lawn chair and read a magazine. And it’s safe for your lawn. They don’t say whether it’s safe for your kids.
