May 8 is National Coconut Cream Pie Day.

I can’t hear “coconut cream pie” without thinking of Gilligan’s Island. Remember how Mary Ann was always baking them? I can only assume she brought an Easy Bake Oven with her on the three-hour cruise. It makes as much sense as anything else.
